Computer Museum of America Announces Inaugural Fundraising Event

Atlanta, Ga. – June 3.2019 – In preparation for its grand opening, the Computer Museum of America will host its inaugural fundraising event, Celebrate The Launch. This event will take place on July 13, 2019 at the Computer Museum of America’s new permanent home, located at 5000 Commerce Parkway, Roswell, GA 30076 at 7p.m.

This event will feature NASA Astronaut, Dr. Sandra Magnus, as the special guest speaker. Dr. Magnus flew in space on the STS-112 shuttle mission in 2002, and on the final shuttle flight, STS-135 2011 having spent 134 days in orbit.

“We want the museum to be a center of inspiration for all generations to be encouraged to create and innovate after visiting,” says Lonnie Mimms, founder of the Computer Museum of America.

This event will be an experiential evening of interactive entertainment, live music, and drinks while guests enjoy innovative and original cuisine stations provided by Talk of the Town Catering & Special Events.
