Event Spaces at CMoA

Accommodating space allows for creative event design. Our event spaces are configured so that it’s easy to add space to your event in a variety of combinations to meet the needs of your event and budget. It’s possible to book initial space and add-on later as your event evolves and/or attendee numbers increase. With the museum currently open four days a week, most weekday events have virtually exclusive access to contracted space.

Gravity Ballroom

Includes the use of a back-of-house Catering Prep Space, the Ready Room (a small green room space that can be used for a variety of needs), and the Event Manager Office. Garage doors provide easy flow if you are combining with the Rotunda and/or a museum visit.

Classrooms

Ideal for a training session, business meeting, workshop, board meeting, or other event where you need your attendees focused or if you need space for a small group to gather informally.

Rotunda

This space is inside the museum and has two exhibits on display. Ideal for receptions or presentations with theater seating. It also can be an annex for buffets to maximize seating in the ballroom.

Silicon Gallery

Movie posters currently line the walls of this flexible space, and it is a great location for receptions in conjunction with other rooms or on its own (during non-operating hours).

Grand Hall

This pre-function space outside the ballroom is ideal for receptions in conjunction with an event in the ballroom, poster sessions, or table-top expos like a job fair or vendor expo.

Museum Access

Offered as an optional add-on to event space rental, or as a stand-alone for groups of 10 or more depending on the day and time. Looking at the artifacts on display sparks conversation and makes for a fun and memorable event.

Flex Space

Available for a nominal charge only with Gravity Ballroom, Rotunda and/or Silicon Gallery space rental. This room can be used as a speaker-ready room, staff office, vendor lounge, dressing room, overflow storage, staging, or similar needs depending on the season.

Venue Details

  • Book a private movie theater if you need stadium seating for your presentation in the adjacent movie theater, or add miniature golf (on two adjacent courses) to your program.
  • The neutral venue can easily be transformed to fit any theme or layout to suit the needs of your event.
