TECH-Splore at CMoA

Whether you’re a collector of vintage computers, gaming consoles, or cutting-edge gadgets, TECH-Splore provides a platform to engage with fellow enthusiasts showing their special collections.

CMoA members, volunteers, and supporters will be sharing their passion projects with museum visitors during TECH-Splore from 10 AM – 5 PM!

Participants include:
– Elaine Venter, Professor of Media at KSU, will speak at 2 PM about the Future of AI and Fiction in Video Gaming
– Atlanta Synthesizer Club members will show their custom-built synthesizers and let visitors experience various sounds on different setups
– Typewriter Tom lets visitors type on vintage typewriters
– Old School Video Games such as Oregon Trail and PacMan will be available for play
– T-slot Framing System building materials can be used to build custom solutions; check out how to Be An Engineer with 80/20 building materials
– Additional displays of older computers lovingly maintained by CMoA members and volunteers will also be on display

Join us for this opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and celebrate the evolution of technology. Free with admission or museum membership.
