|CMoA Turns Two
On July 20, 2019 Computer Museum of America (CMoA) opened its doors to the public for the very first time. We have much to celebrate as we turn two this month! You, our community, has supported us through visits, donations, attending events, volunteering, writing five-star reviews and more — and much of it during a global pandemic! We thank you.
During these first two years we unveiled new exhibits including rare artifacts like the Cray-2 and Enigma machine, added Tech Tales – Storytime for Young Explorers, summer STEAM camps, and launched our successful event series – Bytes, Brews & Bourbon. In addition we have hosted a number of private events large and small.
We invite you to visit on Saturday, July 24th and celebrate with us in person. Everyone who visits can enter to win an Individual+1 membership drawn at the end of the day (valued at $100, and you do not have to be present to win). If you are already a member, you can win an annual renewal valued up to $100.
With your support, we will continue to build and offer educational exhibits and programs that share the stories about the history of computing. There are many ways you can give to CMoA
1. Make a one-time donation
2. Select an item(s) from our Amazon wish list to support various museum programs
3. Become a volunteer
However you choose to help, know with certainty your involvement will further the mission of a museum dedicated to inspire and empower future generations and honor the history of the digital era.
