Talking Tech at CMoA is a presenter series for all ages. From 15 to 105, you will enjoy a wide array of topics in Tech happening today from industry insiders.
This month’s speaker is Bill Nussey, Partner at Tech Square Ventures and Engage, Author of Freeing Energy.
“Through the transition from mainframes to PCs to smartphones, computer technology decentralized computing power and put it directly into the hands of users. Solar panels and batteries will similarly decentralize energy generation, moving it from centralized plants into homes and businesses. The history of computing provides a blueprint for the bottom-up energy disruption already underway.”
Talking Tech begins at 2 PM on January 20th. The talk is free for members or with museum admission.

Computer Museum of America (CMoA) will hold its semi-annual Educator’s Weekend on January 27 (10AM-5PM) and 28 (12PM – 5PM).
CMoA would like to say Thank You! for all you do. To show our appreciation, visiting educators who present a valid educator/teacher ID will be admitted at no charge. Admission for accompanying family members or friends will be regular price.
Educator’s Weekend is a great opportunity for area teachers to explore CMoA. You can preview the museum and all we have to offer for your next field trip. Information about our tours, activities, and group pricing will also be available at the event or see our website. As we are also part of the Fulton County School’s Cultural Kaleidoscope program, it is a chance for teachers in Fulton County Schools to preview one of the approved locations.
