Tech Tales – Storytime for Young Explorers - 7-22-23 - One Giant Leap

July 22, 2023 – One Giant Leap by Robert Burleigh

“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” These famous words were spoken by Neil Armstrong on July 20, 1969, when he became the first person to set foot on the moon. As we celebrate the 54th anniversary of this momentous event, Tech Tales will be exploring the incredible journey of the Apollo 13 mission in today’s book, One Giant Leap by Robert Burleigh. This book recounts the amazing story of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins as they set out on a historic mission that would ultimately lead to the first moonwalk. In honor of this momentous occasion, Tech Tales will be designing their own lunar rovers to explore the mysteries of the moon and beyond.
