Contest participants can enter in two ways: online and in person.

Online:

  • Participants can enter by posting a picture of themselves in their Techy Best on Facebook or Instagram between December 10 – December 17, 2023.
  • Tag us using #CMoATechiestSweater.
  • All collected entries will be posted on Dec. 20th for voting.

Talking Tech at CMoA – Bill Nussey – Clean Energy and the History of Computers
Jan 20 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Talking Tech at CMoA - Bill Nussey - Clean Energy and the History of Computers

Talking Tech at CMoA is a presenter series for all ages. From 15 to 105, you will enjoy a wide array of topics in Tech happening today from industry insiders.

This month’s speaker is Bill Nussey, Partner at Tech Square Ventures and Engage, Author of Freeing Energy.

“Through the transition from mainframes to PCs to smartphones, computer technology decentralized computing power and put it directly into the hands of users. Solar panels and batteries will similarly decentralize energy generation, moving it from centralized plants into homes and businesses. The history of computing provides a blueprint for the bottom-up energy disruption already underway.”

Talking Tech begins at 2 PM on January 20th.  The talk is free for members or with museum admission.
