Each weeklong day camp hosted at Computer Museum of America in Roswell is designed to ignite and enhance your youngster’s interest in all things STEAM! Each day will focus on a different element of STEAM:
- Monday: Science
- Tuesday: Technology
- Wednesday: Engineering
- Thursday: Arts
- Friday: Mathematics
All campers will participate in enriching experiments, labs, projects, and activities designed to elevate their understanding of the elements of STEAM, expose them to careers in STEAM, and spark their interest in STEAM related subjects!
For Technology Day, your child will diagnose and repair a malfunctioning part on the Space Shuttle CMoA. As the lead mechanic, your repair will be simulated and tested before the next launch. Students will use tools, both digital and tactical, to determine their repair plan and present their solution…..and that’s only one day!
Campers should bring their own device for activities scheduled throughout the week. If help is needed to rent a device, CMoA will work with the camper’s family.
Masks are required and social distancing protocols will be observed.
Campers will need to bring lunch and water each day.
All campers will leave this week’s experience excited about STEAM and ready to go back to school and apply all their learning!
